Comptroller Ahmed Bello Takes over Kebbi Customs, Warns Smugglers to Keep Off

The new Customs Area Controller for Kebbi Command, Comptroller Hussaini Ahmed Bello has sounded a note of warning to smugglers to avoid the State or prepare to regret their actions.

He gave the warning on his resumption of duty to the area command.

The Ag. Public Relations Officer of the Command, Mubarak Mustapha made this known in a statement made available to journalists on Friday.

Compt. Bello solicited the maximum support and cooperation of the state government, sister agencies, traditional institutions, as well as officers and men of the Command in order to discharge his responsibilities efficiently and effectively.

The CAC, who hails from Gombe Town in Gombe State, is a graduate of the Bayero University Kano with Master in Public Policy and Administration.

He has served at various Area Commands in different capacities such as TinCan Inland Port, Lagos, Kano Area Command, Murtala Muhammad International Airport among others, before his deployment to the Kebbi Area Command.

On his part, the outgoing Compt., Ben Oramalugo, while handing over the mantle of leadership, thanked everyone especially sister agencies for their support.

Higlighlight of the event was presentation of gifts to the outgoing Comptroller from heads of security agencies in the state, in recognition of his collaboration and support with all security agencies in Kebbi State.
